Joe Price
Founder and Chairman of the Board, TIMA Inc.
Texas
International Music Association was created in
1952 by Dr. Joe Price in the heyday of country
music. He was a regular performer on the Big
D Jamboree in Dallas, Texas. He appeared
with many of the great performers of the day and
enjoyed much success as a singer and
songwriter. His music has been recorded by
many of great recording artists in the country
music field.
Dr. Price surrendered to the ministry and pastored
until he retired in 2007 while serving as
president of TIMA and writing and performing his
music.
TIMA was created with the purpose of helping and
encouraging others with their music careers.
He produced many radio compilations to promote
artists and their music.
Upon
retirement Dr. Joe Price turned TIMA over to
Roland Wright (owner of Yes Records). Dr.
Price isn't finished yet. He still serves
as chairman of the board for TIMA and is still
active in the ministry, though he is now
concentrating more on his own music.
Roland Wright has been manufacturing radio compilations
for TIMA for a number of years and has the same
vision for the music and artists as Dr. Price.
