Greetings from all of us at
TIMA headquarters!
I
can't believe how fast this past month has gone! It's
been a very busy and productive month and I'm so pleased
at the response we've had in our first membership drive.
Many people have joined and are excited about the new
benefits that have been added to the organization.
Several of the artists have already taken advantage of
the discounts that have been introduced to the
membership.
We
at TIMA will be having our first event of the new year
in March most likely. A gospel music radio compilation
for New Ground Music Group (Dobbie Poyner) in Banner, MS
has just been finished and has received some positive
feedback as well as some airplay. Very soon we'll be
starting a country music compilation this month that we
are all very excited about, featuring some of our new
members and some old friends. It's filling up fast so if
you would like to get in on it you should contact me as
soon as possible! Not only do we mail out CD's to radio
stations but we are going to be submitting compilations
via digital download. This will definitely increase the
number of stations we can service with our music.
TIMA
has just produced a gospel album for the Lakeside
Quartet, a very talented group of singers, just a couple
of weeks ago and what a fantastic group they are!
Alongside all of this we will be submitting a project
from the Lightcrust Doughboys, in partnership with Art
Greenhaw and TIMA, early this month to be given away in
a gift package to guests and members attending the
Grammy event in Houston, TX.
TIMA
is planning many new and exciting events and projects
for this next year and things are happening so fast we
can hardly keep up with it all! One of our artists was
previously a professional wrestler and did a lot of
promoting around the country. Now he wants to do the
same thing for TIMA which means a lot more promotion and
opportunity for you! Right now we're also talking about
starting a road show and traveling on the weekends,
somewhat in the style of the Gaither Homecoming. It will
be a mixture of country, gospel, blues, and whatever
else we get to showcase. Currently there is also an
internet music store being built to help sell your music
and I'll be discussing an idea to create a TIMA magazine
with a publisher in a couple of days.
I
want all of you to know that we are doing everything in
our power to build TIMA into the very best organization
we possibly can and I believe that with your help we can
do some amazing things. YOU are the reason for it all. I
know first hand what a struggle it is presenting your
music to the world. I've been doing it for most of my life
and I wouldn't have it any other way. I am surrounding
myself with some really great people who have the same
dreams and goals as I have, people who know the
business. I would love to hear from any of you with
suggestions to help make TIMA more successful because
we're all in it together. If you haven't joined yet you
need to get on board! Visit our website often and keep
up with all of the excitement. Until next month,
continue making music and telling your friends about
TIMA. God bless you all.
